A "Yes Attitude " can change your life! You may be use to being pessimistic, or second guessing yourself by default because you have done it for so long. Today is a great time to break that old habit. Begin practicing optimism and saying yes to yourself.
I was excited to here some responses from you all about your plans and endeavors in this last quarter of 2016. There are many wonderful things going on, with roughly 60 days to go in this year. Most recently the great city of Chicago made history, as the Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Baseball and non-baseball fans alike have literally been flooding the streets with celebration. As the tale of two cities begins with these words, "it was the best of times, and it was the worst of times." Those words are perfect for what's happening in Chicago and around the world. When you decide to live life in an "atmosphere of winning", that means that you are prepared to take the good and the bad together. If you have lived any length of time, you quickly learn that you must celebrate the winning moments that you can as they come. For example, the homicide rate in Chicago is mortifying, and I get to experience it's effects daily working in the criminal justice field. However, if only for an extended weekend hundreds of thousands of Chicagoans are flooding the streets, main city parks, Wrigleyville hot spots, and their own back yards to celebrate the win. Don't miss the lesson in the celebration , even though you aren't a baseball or Cubs fan. The unity alone is powerful, and has transcended all other barriers to unite an entire city. That does't even include the other neighboring states that have traveled here to join in the celebration. Decide today that you will no longer sit in the "pause" position and place your living on hold. Waiting for the perfect time to do things and live life, will destroy your "atmosphere of winning" every time. Live today full, and make time to celebrate the win, no matter how big or small.
